Botox
is a new remedy made from refining and diluting the substance
(produced by the clostridium botulinum bacteria) responsible
for relaxing the muscles. This substance weakens the muscles
by suppressing the release of acetylcholine: the neurotransmitter
responsible for triggering muscle contractions. Essentially,
the botulinum toxins block the signals that would normally tell
your muscles to contract. This mechanism laid the foundation
for the development of the toxin as a therapeutic tool for facial
spasm, blepharospasm and strabismus in the 80¡¯s and wrinkles
and hyperhidrosis in the past few years. Most recently, it has
been used to correct square jaw line. Botox can safely be used
on humans and has been approved by the FDA. |

Botox is an effective treatment for individuals with over-developed
jaw muscles. You are a good candidate if you can feel hard
muscles behind your jaws when you look in the mirror and clench
your teeth. We can guarantee 100% that your lower face will
become oval. If your jaw bones are square, usually your jaw
bones have to be surgically cut, but strong jaw muscles play
a role in the square appearance, too. Hence, if you are too
scared to have a surgery, Botox may be your option to considerably
improve your facial appearance.
The results are usually very satisfying with a single Botox
injection and a follow-up injection after 3-6 months will
give you semi-permanent effects lasting several years. There
is no need to bother with repeated injections. |

Most wrinkles on the face are caused by muscles that are
repeatedly over-contracted during facial expressions. Botox
injected into these muscles blocks acetylcholine which induces
muscle constriction and temporarily weakens the facial muscles
in the area and relaxes the skin's surface, thereby "removing"
the wrinkle. Since Botox removes wrinkles by paralyzing particular
muscles associated with specific facial expressions, there
are no complications.
Patients usually begin seeing results within 2~3 days, however,
to appreciate the full impact of the injections it takes about
a week. Generally, patients getting their first Botox treatment
will find effectiveness will last approximately 4~8 months.
A check-up can be scheduled 1 week after procedure if there
is no discomfort. |

| 1. We only use FDA approved Botox. |
| 2. Treatment is quick, simple and virtually painless. |
| 3. No one will notice that you had something done. |
| 4. You can wash your face, wear make up and resume all
normal activities |
| right after treatment |
| 5. Botox wrinkle treatment works on deep facial lines that
cannot be eliminated |
| with surgery or laser peel. |
| 6. In the case of square jaws, ultrasonic waves are used
to measure the |
| thickness of muscles, enabling a precise
treatment. |

|
 |
| You will quickly recover from this procedure, but it is
important not to touch the injected sites and to remain vertical
for 3-4 hours after the injection. This allows the Botox to
be taken up in the treated area and lessens the chance of
it moving to other muscles. |

- The underlying tissues that keep our skin looking youthful
and plumped up begin to break down with age, often leaving
laugh lines or facial creases over the areas where this
muscle movement occurs. Fillers fill in and plump up creased
and sunken areas of the face, naturally restoring a smoother,
more youthful-looking appearance. Injectable fillers may
be used in conjunction with Botox to maximize wrinkle
removal when Botox alone cannot resolve the problem.
- Restylane, Perlain or Alloderm injected into the skin
is eventually metabolized by the body. However, it draws
the same amount of moisture as the initial quantity injected
so that the plumped up volume stays the same. Restylane
and Perlain are not permanent wrinkle removal methods
and they are safely absorbed into the body one year after
procedure without leaving any residues. Alloderm is similar
to Restylane or Perlain, but is used for deeper or larger
folds, where stronger hold is needed.

1. You will feel minimal pain during this simple procedure
and you will notice the change immediately following treatment.
2. There may be some temporary bruising in the injected
site, but you will be able to resume normal activity immediately.
3. Unlike other injectables, fillers do not require a pre-procedure
allergy test.
4. If you are unhappy with the results, a repeat treatment
can easily refill or remove Restylane or Perlain.
5. A repeat treatment of Alloderm requires the smallest
amount to maintain results.
6. You and your surgeon may determine that a single procedure
or a combination of fillers is the best choice for your
wrinkles. |
